Thai martial arts star Jeeja Yanin has joined the cast of Hard Target 2. She posted on her official Facebook page: “Finally got to meet him the one and only Scott Adkins. On set rehearsing for Hard Target.”
Filming through November 21, 2015, Hard Target 2 boasts an impressive international ensemble including Scott Adkins, Robert Knepper, Rhona Mitra, Ann Truong, Sahajak Boonthanakit and Anteo Quintavalle.
Hard Target 2 is directed by Roel Reine who also serves as director of photography. It is written by Matthew Harvey & Dominic Morgan and George Huang. The film is produced by Chris Lowenstein. Editor is Radu Ion.

Adkins is currently on location in Thailand preparing for the film. He posted: “Back in one of my favourite countries — Thailand and rehearsing for next project with Master Seng of the famous Seng Stunt Team.”
Human hunt continued after 22 years in the jungles between Burma and Thailand. Hard Target 2 is currently filming in Thailand with Scott Adkins as a lead, Jonh Woo as a producer and Roel Reine as a director.
John Woo discussed the project saying: “Though I had resolved at the time to do no sequels to this project, I could not say no,” said Reine. “What an honor to work for one of your idols. Hard Target 2 should be an ode to the old films John Woo made in Hong Kong.”
By the way, Jean Claude Van Damme is not involved with the movie.
