Enju

A Deadly Battlefield of Enju

Japanese action cinema is heading back to the great outdoors with ENJU, a new thriller that turns an ordinary school training camp into a brutal fight for survival. The film is scheduled to open nationwide in Japan on March 26, 2027.

The story follows students from Mizunara Academy’s Outdoor Activities Club as they travel to a busy lakeside campsite for what should be a routine school trip. Instead, their peaceful getaway becomes a nightmare when an armed criminal group known as Crack storms the area.

The gang is searching for 6 billion yen hidden somewhere around the campsite, money that was stolen by one of its own members. As the criminals begin killing campers and trapping the students, the situation quickly becomes a desperate battle for survival.

But just when the students appear completely helpless, someone begins taking down the attackers one by one.

That unlikely protector is Ms. Yura, the seemingly ordinary assistant advisor accompanying the group. Her ability to eliminate heavily armed criminals raises the obvious question: who is this teacher really?

The film’s central mystery gives ENJU a classic action-thriller hook, combining trapped characters, ruthless villains and a secretive hero whose true abilities are only beginning to emerge.

With a lakeside campsite transformed into a deadly battlefield, ENJU looks ready to deliver a very different kind of school trip when it arrives in Japanese theaters next spring.
