Vought Rising

Soldier Boy returns in Vought Rising

The twisted world of The Boys is heading back in time. Vought Rising has officially unveiled its first teaser, promising a bloody and darkly satirical dive into the origins of Vought and the early days of superheroes gone horribly wrong.

Set in the 1950s, the upcoming Prime Video series brings back Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash as Stormfront — then known as Clara Vought. Described as a “twisted murder mystery,” the show explores the secret history of Compound V, Vought’s rise to power, and the violent relationship between two of the franchise’s most dangerous Supes.

The teaser wastes no time delivering everything fans expect from The Boys: blood splatter, brutal violence, political satire, retro aesthetics, and enough disturbing imagery to make even Homelander uncomfortable. But beyond the chaos, Vought Rising appears ready to dig deeper into how Soldier Boy transformed into the cynical monster audiences met in the original series.

The cast also includes Elizabeth Posey, Mason Dye, Will Hochman, and KiKi Layne.

With The Boys approaching its final season, Vought Rising looks poised to expose the ugly roots of the franchise’s corrupt superhero empire when it premieres in 2027.
