Teo Yoo and Isabel May lead the cast of Karōshi, a new action thriller produced by John Wick franchise creator Chad Stahelski, which hits theaters on February 5, 2027.
The story is set in a near-future Manhattan, where corporate loyalty and cultural tradition have reshaped everyday life. After a worker’s death, a mysterious outsider infiltrates a powerful company and exposes the violent system hidden beneath its polished surface.
The trailer promises blood, blades, umbrellas, and a conspiracy that climbs all the way to the top of a megacorporation’s high-rise. The target is Ikigai, the company run by CEO Vincent Ogawa, played by Takehiro Hira of Shogun.
Takashi Doscher wrote and directed the film. Chad Stahelski produces alongside Jason Spitz, Alex Young, and Nathan Kahane.
Teo Yoo stars alongside Hira, Bill Camp, and Show Kasamatsu. Giancarlo Esposito and Cynthia Erivo also appear.
Karoshi opens in theaters on February 5, 2027.
