Blood Father Gibson is forced to do the right thing

One of the biggest and most beloved action movie stars is back! Mel Gibson presents his new movie Blood Father that is set for release on August 25.

Mel Gibson’s public persona has permanently tarnished his acting career but Sly Stallone gave him a very good chance in The Expendable 3 to remind fans what he is capable of. Mel disappeared since 2005 and only get back in 2010 with Edge of Darkness crime drama. In 2016 Mel has served as a presenter at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards and directed upcoming war drama Hacksaw Ridge.

In Blood Father film directed by French filmmaker Jean-François Richet he plays a total screw-up who must pull himself up by his bootstraps to save his daughter from vicious drug dealers. Bearded, with tattoo, living in a desert Mel embarks on a private war against gang.

With all the guns and cars, and the desert landscape, the trailer already feels like it’s something worth to watch, and this is just the sort of movie that we all love to see him in.

Blood Father looks rough, tough, stylish and has a very good vibe of old school action in the new wrap. By the way guy’s name is John Link, he is ex-convict, so I can feel a potential sequel already.

Check out the trailer below.

Synopsis: After her drug kingpin boyfriend frames her for stealing a fortune in cartel cash, 18 year old Lydia goes on the run, with only one ally in this whole wide world: her perennial screw-up of a dad, John Link, who’s been a drunk, a drug addict, a motorcycle outlaw, and a convict in his time, and now is determined to keep his little girl from harm and, for once in his life, do the right thing…
