Joey Ansah hosted a half-hour long Q&A recording session to discuss answers from fan questions regarding his new web series, Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.

Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist is Joey Ansah ‘s directorial debut and stars Togo Igawa, Mike Moh, Christian Howard, Akira Koieyama, Shogen Hwang, Hyunri, Hal Yamanouchi, and Mark Killeen.
The faithful Japanese and English script, co-written by Joey Ansah and Christian Howard, is based on Capcom’s worldwide blockbuster video game franchise Street Fighter. The martial arts live-action film follows the formative years of iconic characters Ryu and Ken, the last practitioners of the ancient fighting style known as ‘Ansatsuken’ (Assassin’s Fist), living a traditional warrior‘s life in secluded Japan.
The film is currently in post production.

Joey Ansah is pleased to announce that look like they are good to go, and their vision of a Street Fighter series made by fans for fans will happen. He believes that Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist will be the definitive live-action Street Fighter that fans have been waiting for and hoping to see.
Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist is in development for a 2013 release and will be a full-length version of Ansah previous 2010 short film.
“We’re looking at filming for Assassin’s Fist to commence this year with the first episode set to debut this year as well – just in time for the 25th anniversary of the Street Fighter series. We haven’t seen a good warrior’s journey in a long time; the kind of film that makes you want to start training or dedicate yourself to some kind of art form. Films like that aren’t made anymore and this is definitely one of those stories”
“I’ll tell fans now, if we succeed with Assassin’s Fist and move on to the World Warrior I can say now that I want Scott to be my Guile. Look at how Scott looks in Undisputed 2 and imagine that but with blonde hair and an American accent. He would make a killer Guile.”
