Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Richard Madden lead the cast of Trinity, a new political thriller series from Netflix, which has released a trailer ahead of its December premiere.
Mbatha-Raw plays Commander Katherine Decker, a heroic naval officer who forms an unlikely bond with Secretary of Defense Webb Preston, played by Madden. Their connection draws her into dangerous machinations surrounding a top-secret program called Trinity, and she uncovers a trail of secrets that may tie him to a global threat.
Katherine soon finds herself caught between supporting Webb’s strategy to prevent World War III and exposing what he is hiding.
The seven-episode series also stars Bruce Greenwood, Robert Wisdom, and James Remar. Mbatha-Raw is known for Lift and Surface, while Madden’s credits include Eternals and Citadel.
Trinity arrives on Netflix on December 1.
