Jackie, Lion and high-speed chase in Kung Fu Yoga

Jackie Chan and director Stanley Tong worked before such movies as Rumble in the Bronx, First Strike, Supercop and The Myth movies. 11 years later they decided to join forces again for the Kung Fu Yoga film.

This is movie can be seen as another part of Armour of God series, as Jackie plays an archeology professor who travels around the world searching for ancient treasures, and as always in a company of beautiful girls.

In his 62 years old Jackie still looks good in Indiana Jones-esque professor role driving a car across the city with a lion on a backseat. What could make a car chase more fun than sticking a lion inside the car?

The India-China co-production was first announced in 2014 as a partnership between Viacom18 Motion Pictures India and China’s Taihe Entertainment Corp. and Shinework Media

Co-starring with Jackie Chan are Lay Zhang, Aarif Rahman, Miya Muqi, Sonu Sood and Ileana D’Cruz.

Kung Fu Yoga is scheduled for release on 28 January 2017.

Synopsis: Chinese archeology professor Jack teams up with beautiful Indian professor Ashmita and assistant Kyra to locate lost Magadha treasure. In a Tibetan ice cave, they find the remains of the royal army that had vanished together with the treasure, only to be ambushed by Randall, the descendent of a rebel army leader. When they free themselves, their next stop is Dubai where a diamond from the ice cave is to be auctioned. After a series of double-crosses and revelations about their past, Jack and his team travel to a mountain temple in India, using the diamond as a key to unlock the real treasure.
