John Woo returns with his new action movie Silent Night starring Joel Kinnaman.
The film is a gritty revenge tale of a tormented father who witnesses his young son die when caught in a gang’s crossfire on Christmas Eve. While recovering from a wound that costs him his voice, Kinnaman makes vengeance his life’s mission and embarks on a punishing training regimen in order to avenge his son’s death.
The project is produced by John Wick’s Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Christian Mercuri and Lori Tilkin along with Capstone’s Ruzanna Kegeyan overseeing with Joe Gatta.
The film is set to hit theaters on December 1, 2023 via Lionsgate.
