London’s brutal boxing underworld is about to take center stage as Fightland, the highly anticipated crime drama from executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, gears up for its summer premiere on Sky and streaming service NOW. Starz has unveiled the first teaser trailer, offering a gritty glimpse into a world where championship glory, family loyalty, and criminal ambition collide.
At the heart of the story is Duke Kilroy, played by Howard Charles, a British boxer who reaches the pinnacle of the sport by becoming world heavyweight champion. But his greatest victory is overshadowed by tragedy when his brother Calvin is murdered in a vicious attack. Consumed by grief and driven by rage, Duke’s actions land him in a U.S. prison for eight years.
Upon his release, Duke uncovers a dark secret and returns to London determined to take revenge on former boxing promoter and criminal kingpin Kingsley Marshall, portrayed by Nicholas Pinnock. However, Kingsley has vanished, leaving behind a fractured empire and his wife Joy, played by Deborah Ayorinde, who also happens to be Duke’s former love.
As Duke infiltrates a dangerous criminal network connected to London’s drug trade, he finds himself fighting a different kind of battle—one where every punch, betrayal, and decision could prove fatal. Blending hard-hitting action with family drama and underworld intrigue, Fightland promises to be one of the year’s most explosive new series.
