Michael Jai White presents Never Back Down 2 at ActionFest

First time I have heard about this festival more than a year ago and was exited that somebody eventually decided to do such an event for so big crowd of action movies fans. The First ActionFest was honored by Chuck Norris visit and premiere of Undisputed 3 martial arts movie. Now it is a time for the second hit and it is going to be a much much better and bigger, so fasten your seatbelts guys!

I wish to be there, but probably next year only… whispering – we are going to do something similar in Australia soon…

ActionFest 2011, the only international film festival devoted exclusively to action cinema and its unsung heroes, will once again showcase the most exciting action films from around the globe, pay tribute to the stuntmen, fight choreographers and second unit directors that make them possible, and give attendees an unparalleled Stunt Show Extravaganza.

All visitors will be able to see the next action and martial arts movies:

  • Little Big Soldier
  • Hobo With A Shotgun
  • Super
  • Bangkok Knockout
  • Outrage
  • Bunraku
  • Machete Maidens Unleashed!
  • Machete
  • Largo Winch
  • Ironclad
  • Tomorrow, When The War Began

Michael Jai White together with fight choreographer Larnell Stovall (Undisputed 3 The Movie) will show up with directorial debut mixed martial arts movie Never Back Down 2. Plot: Ex-boxer Zach (Alex Meraz), talented MMA fighter Tim (UFC fighter Todd Duffee), bullied record store clerk Justin (MMA fighter Scott Epstein), and wrestler Mike (Dean Geyer) come from very different backgrounds, but they share a passion for the “savage science” and quickly become loyal to their unorthodox trainer, Case (Michael Jai White), a brilliant ex-UFC Champion down on his luck.
