Time Raiders, epic tale of action and adventure

Time Raiders is an upcoming fantasy-adventure film directed by Daniel Lee and based on the online novel series Daomu Biji.

From the trailer below you can see this is a big budget movie in Jackie Chan‘s Armour of God style, ambitious epic tale of action and adventure.

Wu Xie is an antique shop owner who comes from a family of tomb raiders. As he continues the family trade with his team of tomb raiders, he finds lost treasures of the Warring States as well as the answers to the tragedies of his family’s past. With the help of his grandfather’s notes and his team – the quiet Zhang Qiling, the resourceful Pang Zi, the experienced Wu Sanxing, San Xing’s loyal helper Pan Zi, and the skillful Ah Ning – Wu Xie sets out to find the lost treasures as well as the people responsible for the massacre of his family.

Leads played by Luhan and Jing Boran. Luhan is a former member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO, he made his film debut in the 2015 film 20 Once Again and was named as the 37th highest-earning celebrity in China by Forbes. Jing Boran is an ex-singer too and best known for his lead role in the highest grossing Chinese film Monster Hunt.

Indian actress Mallika Sherawat is also the part of this venture with a guest appearance!

Daniel Lee is known by movies such as 14 Blades, White Vengeance and Dragon Blade.

Time Raiders is scheduled for release in China on July 30.
