Jordan pulling double duty as both director and star, delivering a fresh take on the legendary cat-and-mouse thriller first made famous by Steve McQueen in 1968 and later reimagined with Pierce Brosnan in 1999.
Jordan stars as Thomas Crown, a charismatic New York billionaire who secretly orchestrates the theft of priceless works of art—not for money, but for the thrill of the game. Publicly, he is a sophisticated collector and philanthropist. Privately, he is a master strategist who always seems one step ahead of the law. His latest heist catches the attention of investigator Catherine Banning, played by Adria Arjona, setting the stage for a tense battle of wits, manipulation and undeniable attraction.
This version also raises the stakes by introducing Kenneth Branagh as a mysterious and dangerous villain whose ambitions threaten to derail Crown’s carefully planned mission. Rather than stealing for personal gain, Crown is driven by a hidden agenda: returning priceless cultural artifacts to their rightful owners.
Penned by Drew Pearce, based on earlier drafts by Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson, the film promises elegant heists, globe-trotting adventure and razor-sharp dialogue.
