Hong Kong-based Golden Network Asia has closed multiple international distribution agreements for The Shadow’s Edge, currently in post-production.
The action-thriller is produced by Victoria Hon and backed by iQiyi Pictures, Tao Tickets, Hairun Pictures, and Chen Xiang.

The cast also includes Zhang Zifeng (High Forces), Ci Sha (Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms), Broňo Bajtala (100 Yards), Lee Huang (Kung Fu Yoga), and Zac Wang (The Karate Kid).
The story follows a retired Macau police surveillance expert, played by Chan, who is drawn back into action. Tasked with guiding a team of elite young detectives, he helps take on a dangerous criminal syndicate operating across Asia.
Blending traditional espionage with high-stakes action, The Shadow’s Edge aims to deliver a fast-paced narrative with regional flair and a cross-generational cast. The film targets both Asian and global audiences with a mix of familiar stars and fresh faces.
Distribution deals are expected to expand the film’s reach across key territories in Asia, Europe, and North America.
With its combination of high production value, experienced producers, and a pan-Asian cast, The Shadow’s Edge is positioning itself as a major regional release with international appeal.
