I remember 2 years ago some of film makers contacted me regarding the new Indonesian martial arts movie Pirate Brothers starring Robin Shou and only now Lionsgate presents the DVD release. Directed by Asun Mawardi this action-packed film now called Mortal Enemies and will be available on DVD on February 18, 2014.
Synopsis: Fellow orphans Sunny and Verdy are like brothers, but are separated when Verdy is adopted by a wealthy couple. Their paths cross again when Verdy (now a successful businessman) and his fiancee are kidnapped by a crew of pirates while on vacation. With the ransom set, the pirates’ intentions become clear and Verdy is reunited with his long lost friend – who, it appears, has joined the pirates. Will they be able to come together to prove that brothers don’t always have to share blood?
