World Premiere of “Gunfight at Rio Bravo” took place in Tucson, AZ on January 17, 2023. The stars and creators walked the red carpet at the historical Loft Cinema in Tucson.
“When we were making “Gunfight at Rio Bravo” in 2021, I fell in love with Arizona, and I’m very happy to be back and present it,” said the action film’s main star and three-time Mr. Universe Alexander Nevsky.
“I love shooting in Arizona. We filmed at a marvelous place called Gammon’s Gulch, close to the legendary Tombstone,” said film director Joe Cornet.
Gunfight at Rio Bravo is out in limited theatres, on DVD, Digital and On-Demand in North America from Shout! Studios!

When mysterious gunslinger Ivan Turchin rides into a small Texas town, he runs afoul of a bloodthirsty outlaw gang known as The Hellhounds. The gunslinger finds allies in the form of Marshal Austin Carter and Sheriff Vernon Kelly, and together the three must make a desperate stand against impossible and violent odds.
The new western movie Gunfight at Rio Bravo starring Alexander Nevsky, Matthias Hues and Olivier Gruner will be released in North America in the beginning of 2023.
The film is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on January 13th, followed by a digital and national home entertainment release on January 17th.
Gunfight at Rio Bravo is directed by Joe Cornet from a screenplay by Craig Hamann. Alexander Nevsky produced for Hollywood Storm, with ETA Films’ Eric Brenner and San Rafael Productions’ Joe Cornet serving as executive producers.

Storyline: Texas, 1875 – A bloodthirsty gang of outlaws is on the eve of attacking a border town to free their leader from prison. They’re an army of ruthless killers known as the most dangerous gang in the West. Their plan is to burn the entire town to the ground with everyone who in it. But a handle of warriors led by a mysterious foreigner will stand in their way…
Composer Sean Murray is serving as a co-producer alongside Ruslan Vitryanyuk as a producer.
Post production will take place in Los Angeles under supervision of Cody Miller.
First trailer of Assault on Rio Bravo will be presented at the Marche du Film international film market in Cannes this July.
