Derek Yee and Tsui Hark present the new wuxia drama Sword Master. The martial arts movie is based on Gu Long’s novel which transpired into the 1977 Shaw Brothers classic Death Duel.
Derek Yee wrote the script with Crime Story with Jackie Chan and Bodyguards And Assassins with Donnie Yen. Tsui Hark previously directed and produced 3D hits such as Flying Swords Of Dragon Gate and The Taking Of Tiger Mountain.
Kenny Lin plays an elite swordsman who is haunted by his skill, and a challenger who aims to take his place at all costs. They say no one has ever seen him draw his sword because those who had, never got the chance to tell.
Sword Master is scheduled for a December release by Well Go USA.
