Some naked news for you. You probably remember female martial arts movie of 2002 with todays Nikita Maggie Q as a lead, where director Siu-Tung Ching told a story about a mysterious woman, known as Madame M, kidnaps forty pre-teen girls and transports them to a remote island to train them as the most deadly assassins. Jing Wong served as a producer and Chi-Ho Lau as a stunt coordinator.
Now producer Jing Wong presents a sequel named Naked Soldier with a very strong cast and crew on board. Corey Yuen serves as action choreographer while Sammo Hung, Andy On and Philip Ng join Jenn Tse in the cast as the titular soldier. I am really glad to see Corey and Sammo working together, because this talented pair of film stars can make a top action with amazing fighting scenes like we all enjoyed in Ip Man 2 film. Jenn Tse is a younger sister of famous actor Nicholas Tse and played only in the Bruce Lee, My Brother movie in 2010, so hope she will be fine as a lead.
Nicholas Tse states “She has seen what our parents and myself have been through while working in the entertainment industry yet she still considers to join the circle.”
Plot: Interpol agent CK Long busted a billion-dollar drug deal fifteen years ago. The cartel has avenged itself by hiring Madame Rose’s organization of assassins to kill CK Long’s entire family. Long himself survives and believes his young daughter is still alive. In fact, for these fifteen years, the girl has been kidnapped by Madame Rose, brainwashed and trained into beautiful, sexy killer Phoenix.
Phoenix has now become the top-ranked killer in Madame Rose’s organization. She is skilled in combat and always completes her missions. Thanks to her band of killers Madame Rose has expanded her criminal organization and now assigns missions in many parts of the world. CK Long has never imagined that he would one day become the target of his own daughter’s mission.
