Michael Jai White witnesses the brutal slaying in Chain Of Command

Kevin Carraway’s new independent action thriller The Echo Effect will be released by Lionsgate as Chain Of Command, on digital and DVD/Blu-Ray.

Plot: Special Operative James Webster (Michael Jai White) just returned home from duty, only to witness the brutal slaying of his brother. Webster immediately tries to retaliate and hunt down the perpetrators, but as he delves deeper into the secret world of corruption and murder, he finds himself at the center of a deadly conspiracy that cuts deep inside the walls of the US Government. With the most ruthless military assassin (Steve Austin) hot on his trail, Webster must expose the corrupt high-ranking officials before he becomes just another victim of the nefarious plot.

Echo Effect is wrapping production this week of January in Cincinnati and Hamilton, Ohio. Michael Jai White and Steve Austin are starring in this indie action-thriller directed by Kevin Carraway from Lawrence Sara’s script.

Michael Jai White portrays a special operative who witnesses the brutal slaying of his brother right after returning home from his third tour of duty. He finds himself a target of a deadly conspiracy so vast that there’s no one to trust but himself.

Max Ryan and Ashleigh Barnett also star.

Grindstone Entertainment Group will be releasing the film domestically through Lionsgate. Bleiberg Entertainment is handling international distribution.

Many scenes for the Echo Effect action thriller have been filmed within downtown Hamilton, according to Steve Colwell.
